This tool is intended to support clinical decision-making and does not replace comprehensive assessment or professional judgment.

How to use the finder

Choose the position of the sound in the word, tap the sound you heard, then tap the target sound the student was aiming for. The possible phonological processes appear straight away — there is no button to press and nothing to submit.

Deletion and vowel substitutions are included, and blends are analysed component by component, so you can see which part of the cluster the process applies to.

Privacy

No student information is needed or requested. Sound comparisons stay in your browser — nothing is saved to a record, and nothing is sent to an outside service.
